Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cans Italian seasoned diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp chili powder

Directions

  1. In a large pot, saute onion, celery, and garlic until onion is translucent.
  2. Add meat until browned.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and cook on low for as long as you can, stirring occasionally.
    • Once meat is browned you can drop everything into the crock-pot and cook on low all day.
