I’ve probably said it before and I’ll probably say it again: no one deserves this band.
On their 6th album, As Long As You Are, the synth pop crooning is top notch and has never been more relevant. Lyrically and musically, it feels like pre-apocalyptical dread mixed with post-apocalyptical longing for a world that is no more.
It’s like you get to have your cake and eat it, too.
As you explore the sonic landscapes, you’ll find yourself taking a stroll through a Robert Frost poem in a foggy forest or going for a swim in the ocean.
When you reach the end, you can’t help but spin it again.
