Smart Watch

Some time ago, and in a whole other world, I wrote about my newly purchased Bluetooth headset. At that time I mentioned that I would be amenable to the idea of a smartwatch. However, there werent any available that were watchlike enough for me to justify putting down the dinero. With the release of the Moto 360 and Huawei Watch the watchlikeness of the smartwatch changed. Unfortunately, the price was still steep. Well, thats changed. I went out and gots me a fancy new smart watch!

pipboyI love this thing. It doesnt actually eliminate any problems. It just makes several things a little bit easier. I dont have to pull my phone out to check the time, see who texted, select a different track on Google Play. I can check my heart rate, which is a thing people are doing these days. It works with my phone to keep track of my exercise and tells me to “keep it up” and that Im “almost there” a lot. I can check the weather and, albeit very cumbersomely, reply to text messages. All in all, it is a great companion to my phone. Like I said, it doesnt actually eliminate any problems but it makes everything a little bit easier.

Perhaps the most intriguing part of the watches are the customizationability they have. Many brands let you choose between metal type and band type. All of them let you choose from a plethora of watch faces. These vary in as many ways as you can imagine. When I was searching online for the best watch I liked how some of the fancy and elegant faces looked. The problem with real life is that they still look like pictures of fancy watches. It doesnt translate in true 3D. The ones that I like are the ones that take advantage of the technology.

In the end I am very happy with my purchase. I dont wear it all the time but I always enjoy it when I do. If you are thinking of getting one you should. Its everything you could hope for.
