It’s the perpetual love/hate relationship with Taco Bell that keeps me going back to punish myself. I’m surrounded by much better Mexican food offerings, and yet, I still sometimes like the simplicity of the Bell.

Their new item, the Bacon Club Chalupa is pretty good. It’s like a regular chicken chalupa but with bacon bits added and instead of sour cream, it is some sort of avocado ranch sauce.

I wouldn’t mind if they replaced the regular chicken chalupas with this variety. It’s a better flavor profile and it doesn’t overpower with any one part. I generally do not like ranch, but this avocado stuff is tolerable.

Now, if only we could get them to bring back the Baja Chicken gordita. That shit was the bomb and they just decided to scrap it 5 or 10 years ago.
