We are on the eve of the 2022 NFL season. As with every season, I have not spent any time watching the preseason games. Traditionally I would pick division winners but I think this year Ill pick a few games, likely the ones I will be watching and then pick who I think will win. So, lets do some very uninformed picks.

Bills @ Rams
The season starts off with a big game. Both of these teams are playoff contenders and one of them is going to start with a loss. I love what Josh Allen did in Buffalo last year. Holy cow was he exciting to watch. In all my years watching the NFL I dont think there has been a better game than the Bills/Chiefs playoff game. But we talked all about that here and here so I wont look in a dead horses mouth.
As a Lions fan I have a new found love for the Rams though. Stafford aiding the amazing LA team in winning the Lombardi trophy last season justifies all of my, and every Lions fans, frustration over the last our entire lives. And I would love to see them win it all again this year. Detroit is in a rebuild year after all.
But, at the end of the day, just because I want something doesnt mean its going to happen. And, we are a long way from the playoffs. I think the Bills take this one in a 64+ point shootout. I wouldnt mind seeing this matchup again in February.

Eagles @ Lions
I talked about this game in my Lions predictions earlier this summer. I think the Lions are going to start out with a win!

Chiefs @ Cardinals
Man oh man did the Cardinals fall apart last season. And the Chiefs ended their season on a rampage falling just short of the Super Bowl. I dont know what moves Arizona made in the off season but I know that the Chiefs still have Mahomes so Im going to go with Kansas City.

Buccaneers @ Cowboys
I cant be the only one upset that the Cowboys play about 64% of their games in primetime, right? As much as I like Prescot I have an irrational hatred for Mike McCarthy. I am almost certain that Dallas will make the playoffs this year. Nobody else in the NFC East looks any good. The Eagles cant even beat the Lions! Anyway, while its not a guarantee, the Bucs are going to the playoffs again. (Brady has played more games in the postseason than most players play during the regular season in their entire career.) And this will be their first win on their way.

Like I said, I have not done any research. These are just my gut feeling based on how last season went. There is a good chance I get all four games wrong.
