We are officially two thirds of the way through the season and the playoff picture is starting to reveal itself. Nothing is set in stone and every team is technically still alive. Lets take a look at how this should all play out.

AFC East: Buffalo Bills
The East is by far the best division in the AFC. If any of these four teams are able to win out, they will take the division. The Bills have the easiest road, and the most control over their own destiny with 4 division games remaining. But, they HAVE to win week 15 against the Dolphins. If not, it wont matter what happens the other 5 games.

AFC North: Baltimore Ravens
There are really only 2 teams that can win this division, the Ravens and the Bengals. Both teams are looking pretty good right now (despite the Ravens fluke loss to the Jags this week) and I dont doubt that both make they playoffs. The Ravens have a much easier road. They only play one team with a winning record and thats the Bengals week 18. The AFC north could come down to the last seconds of the regular season.

AFC South: Tennessee Titans
It would take a complete collapse from the Titans and a near perfect run from the Colts for the Titans to lose the division. And we might see a collapse from Tennessee but the Colts dont have a run in them.

AFC West: Kansas City Chiefs
This division was supposed to be THE division this season. As it turns out, only the Chiefs showed up. Yes, the Chargers have a winning record but like so many teams with winning records this year, they have a negative point differential. And, even if San Diego wins out and Kansas City only wins 3 of their last 6, neither of which is likely, the Chiefs still have all the tiebreakers.

Wild Card: Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins would have to completely fall apart not to make the playoffs this year. Their only real challange left is the Bills and the winner of that will take the AFC East while the other ends up with a wild card spot.
Wild Card: Los Angeles Chargers
I think its going to take 10 wins to get to the playoffs in the AFC and the Chargers have a path. They just need to beat the Raiders, Colts, Rams, and Broncos. If Herbert is all hes cracked up to be, that shouldnt be a problem. If it is a problem, the Chargers are going to have to take a hard look at what went wrong this year.
Wild Card: Cincinnati Bengals
Again, its going to take 10 wins to get a wild card spot, and I think the Jets and Bengals should be able to get there, but the last spot will come down to a head to head tiebreaker and that will be the Bengals week 3 victory over the Jets.
