Fact: The Lions have outscored every team in the league. 140 points through 4 weeks.
Fact: Goff, while flawed, is not the problem.
Fact: The Lions have given up more points than any other team in the league. 141 points through 4 weeks.
Fact: The second worst defense is has only given up 108 points.
Fact: The Seahawks scored more points in week 4 against the Lions (48) than they did in weeks 1-3 combined (47).
Fact: This fucking defense needs to figure something out, fast!

So, that was how my afternoon went on Sunday. Bewildered as my team gives away another game they should win. At least the Bills/Ravens game was good. Lots of back and forth. The team I picked won. So, how does week 5 look?

Lions @ Patriots
Well, if last week has taught me anything its that the Lions cant play defense. Its one thing to give up a ton of points to the Eagles and even the Vikings but not the Seahawks. Not this year. So, math dictates that the Patriots will score 76 points this week and the Lions will put up roughly 72 points. Missing 5 extra points in the process. In my preseason predictions I have the Lions losing this one and that is not going to change. Im still a Dan Campbell fan but defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn might not make it through the week 6 bye week if they allow another 40+ points. Anyone know what Patricia is doing these days?

Honestly, Im not sure what other game we are going to watch this week. None of the games being aired here are that appealing. Might just watch highlights and turn in early.
