We had some big head to head matchups this week. Lets see how it all shook out. Tier lists made using tiermaker.com

Christmas brought us a huge matchup between the two S tier teams and the Ravens proved they are the number one team in the NFL. I was hoping for a close game but Baltimore went into Levi Stadium and picked apart the 49ers offense. (Five picks to be exact.) Im not demoting the 49ers this week, they are still well ahead of the rest of the pack. But, they definitely cant afford to go on another three game losing streak. If the Ravens manage to take out the Dolphins this week they might be looking at S+ tier.

Philadelphia snapped a three game losing streak with a pedestrian win over the Giants. The Lions (#4) Dolphins (#5) and Browns (#6) all moved up a spot as the Cowboys dropped three spots to 7th after a loss to the Bills who moved up three to #8. Kansas City has now lost five of their last eight and barely hang on to A tier. The Lions could move up to S tier if they manage a win in Dallas this week while the Chiefs will almost certainly drop to B tier if they cant beat the Bengals.

The Jaguars fell to 10th, their lowest ranking this season, and dropped to B tier with the Bengals. The Texans and Colts plummeted to the bottom of B tier as the Steelers hopped up past them out of C tier.

Denver got embarrassed at home by New England and dropped four spots to 21st. The Falcons moved up three spots and jumped up to C tier with the Jets.

Chicago (#25) and New England (#29) each moved up two spots. The Patriots even moved up out of F tier with their win over the Broncos. Tennessee had a rough day falling four spots to #27.

Not a lot going on here. Just three really bad teams losing to other teams that arent any good.
