The NFL season is in full swing and we have 3 weeks of data to look at so lets see where everyone stands going into week 4.

The Raiders are leading the league as one of the 5 undefeated teams. Im a little surprised to see a 3-0 Broncos team. Though, none of their opponents have won a game yet. Which brings us to the other end of the spectrum, the 5 winless teams. Youve got the 3 teams the Broncos beat, the Colts, and my Lions. I know I picked the Lions to lose their first 5 games this season but it still stings, especially with the last second, record breaking field goal this Sunday. (Yet another new way for the Lions to lose.)

Its still early, but right now, I dont want to be a team that has to travel out west. The Seahawks are the worst team in the NFC West and the Chiefs are the worst in the AFC West. Which means that there arent any bad teams on that side of the Mississippi.

Im so happy that the NFL season is back! And Im still tinkering with a new ranking system. Something that incorporates points allowed and scored. Ill keep you updated if anything comes of it. Also, I think Ill be turning over the analysis portion of the rankings to our resident sports expert, paradroid. (If he wants.) He words a lot better than I do.
