Back in the early 2000s, Pepsi came out with Pepsi Blue. It was advertised as a berry and cola fusion. I don’t really remember the flavor, and I can’t say that I drank much of it.
The only thing I do remember is that it seemed to be universally panned and they couldn’t give it away. Then you’ve got the awful advertising campaign featuring some rap metal band called Sev.

Recently, it was announced that Pepsi is bringing the Pepsi Blue flavor back for a limited time. I don’t know if I should be excited or afraid. Since I like things that are awful, I’m going to buy some when it comes out and taste test it. Maybe there will be a video or podcast about it.
I do like that they are going the patriotic route with the advertising. How can someone be upset with a soda pop flavor that embodies the spirit of America?!
