The 49ers laid an egg this week against the Falcons. Not much else of interest this week. [table id=98 /]

The Ravens and 49ers have taken over on the top and are starting to create a little bit of space. The NFC West has 3 teams in the top 8 while the highest ranked NFC East team is the Eagles at 18th. In fact, the NFC East is so bad that they have 2 of the 3 worst ranked teams. [table id=97]

There was a big shake up at the top. The 5 best teams are all 10-2 after week 13 and each one moved at least one spot. At the bottom, the Lions continue to fall. The Bengals get a win and the Giants join them in last place. [table id=96]

The Patriots and 49ers get big wins this week and start to put a little space between them and the rest of the pack. The Packers took a big hit as the only top 5 team to lose this week. Its been a while since the top 2 teams had the best records but here we are. The Patriots and 49ers have finally overcome their easy schedules to put together enough points to take the top. Well, it was bound to happen, the 49ers lost. The Seahawks win over the undefeated Niners propelled them into the #2 spot, just 3 points behind the Packers. The Saints fell from #1 to #5 with a fluke loss to the terrible Falcons. On the other end, the Bengals are the only team with a perfect season and are sitting alone in last place.…

The Saints had the week off and managed to hang on to first place. Though, the 49ers are hot on their heels. The Patriots got destroyed by the Ravens bringing their undefeated season to an end and matching their record to their 4th place ranking. The Bengals remain winless but have a friend at the bottom in the Redskins. [table id=92]

The undefeated Patriots slip a little to 4th place. Itll be interesting to see what they do with the 2nd half of the season where they actually have to play teams that have a winning record. [table id=91]

Its rare to have 2 undefeated teams after week 7. But, considering the Patiots 7 opponents have 12 wins between them and the 49ers 6 opponents have 11 wins total, its not that surprising. [table id=90 /]

A lot of upsets this week. Jets upset the Cowboys. Steelers upset the Chargers. The refs upset the Lions... The Saints hold onto the #1 spot while the Patriots continue their tour of the worst teams in the league.
