A group of college friends do an informal tarot card reading session at a rental house and then start dying in strange ways associated with their tarot card draws. It sounds interesting, but be warned: it only sounds that way. 

As the movie progresses, the friends start dying one at a time at the hands of creepy tarot card creatures come to life. The FX and creatures were mostly well done and provided decent enough scares.

It’s also got Ned (Jacob Batalon) from the latest Spider-Man movies. He’s a fun guy with some decent acting chops and probably the most sensible character of the lot. The rest of the cast is flatter than a pancake and more forgettable than Bingo night at a nursing home. 

It’s not a terrible movie, but it’s also not that great. I recommend it highly to tarot card enthusiasts, because I don’t know who else would actually care.
