Welcome to sequel town. This time in 3D!
Silent Hill did so well in 2006, it took them 6 years to do a sequel. This time around, the story is minimized in favor of jump scares and 3D effects.
Heather is a girl with a lot of bad dreams about the town of Silent Hill. When her dad is kidnapped, she must return to the town to rescue him.
Some of the creatures and effects were good. The acting was stiffer than the voice acting of the games.
Without a worthwhile story or compelling characters, the movie just ends up being a puff spectacle (in 3D).
