It’s like invasion of the pod people with yogurt. The whole world has gone crazy for “The Stuff,” a yogurt/ice cream food product that takes them over and makes them start acting strange.
Mo is a former FBI guy who is investigating where The Stuff comes from and why it is becoming so popular all of a sudden. Jason is a kid who discovers the takeover plot and goes on a supermarket rampage trying to destroy as much of The Stuff as possible.
While it is very reminiscent of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, it is fun and goofy enough to still be enjoyable. Some of the special effects are a bit dated. I kind of wish there had been a bunch of sequels, because there is no telling how campy and ridiculous this thing could have gotten.
