A boy named Peter starts hearing things behind his bedroom wall. His parents are not helpful when they dismiss his concerns as an exaggerated imagination. His teacher thinks there might be something wrong, but is unable to help him without evidence.

As the parents become more unhinged, Peter is psychologically abused and starts listening to the voice in the wall to do bad things like push a school bully down some stairs. It all comes to a climactic finish when the truth is finally revealed.

While it was slow to get started, it was a simple story that kept the mystery going in a measured way. As the plot opened up with new revelations, it changed the dynamic about the characters and their motivations.

The climax was satisfying in a bittersweet kind of way. The ending was a letdown in that it wrapped up abruptly in a lame way.
