This is the right level of weird. It stars Georgina Campbell as Jenny Lennon, a park ranger who works in the backcountry. Things start to get creepy when she helps rescue a camper and then loses all grasp on reality. Or is she somewhere else?
I loved the slow pace and scenes that just breathed nature. I appreciated how there were moments of just experiencing what Lennon experienced on her journey. There was a clear awareness of nature’s beauty on display instead of the more common “long shot of trees with ominous music” type of trope.
While there are a lot of questions I would still like answered, I came away with a satisfaction that what was delivered was an enjoyable experience.
