What I wanted was a stylish late 70s vampire film. What I got was a boring ass fake vampire film about a mind-controlling cult.

I don’t mind the premise of a woman, Kate, being kidnapped to force her into The Brotherhood cult of drinking blood and wearing fake vampire teeth. It could have made that a mystery where you weren’t sure if they were true vampires or not, but it didn’t. The idea seems to be more of a psychological thriller of the cult leaders trying to break Kate.

I know things were different back in the 70s, but this movie was just a boring mess of nothing happening. The best part was when a guy fell from a helicopter and the fake body hit some power lines and flailed around getting zapped for a minute.
