This is an early 80s slasher where a woman named Susan goes to a hospital for test results, but ends up getting admitted and sequestered as her past comes back to haunt her. A childhood admirer fakes some test results to keep her in the hospital and then proceeds to kill various hospital workers with the ultimate intent of killing Susan.

The pacing is the first part that doesn’t work. Whether it is the plot barely moving forward or the kill sequences, scenes go on for too long and the 89-minute run time feels like an eternity.

The acting leaves a lot to be desired. Most of the actors are not convincing as doctors and nurses. Oh, and people are smoking like chimneys inside the hospital. The 80s were a wild time.

The third strike came in the form of the Susan character being forced to stay in the hospital when she should have up and left immediately. If the hospital is run by incompetent morons, you get the hell out, but then you wouldn’t have an old fashioned massacre. And yet, not nearly enough people ended up getting massacred.
